What is STAT?

If you have no formal qualifications on which to base your application to a tertiary institution, you may be eligible to be considered for entry to a course by sitting STAT. The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) is a series of tests designed to assess your ability to think critically and analyse the material given, rather than testing knowledge of specific academic subjects. The Special Tertiary Admissions Test and is administered by the Universities Admissions Centre (NSW & ACT) Pty Ltd (UAC).

How do I sit the test?

To extend access to university courses for Shoalhaven residents, the Shoalhaven Campus will be holding a STAT at the University Building, Shoalhaven Campus, George Evans Road, West Nowra at 10:00am on Tuesday 10 May 2016.

To register, candidates must ring UAC on 1300 275 822 (1300 ASK UAC). 

All applications must be lodged by 26 April 2016. The cost of sitting the STAT at the Shoalhaven Campus is $135.
